Woman Dies After Rejection By 4 Hospitals

A woman in Ekiti is said to have lost her life after rumours spread that she had contracted Ebola.

The unfortunate victim showed symptoms of the disease and was thus rejected by 4 hospitals due to fear.

This was revealed by the Commissioner for Health, Professor Olusola Fasuba who said that the woman in question eventually collapsed at the State Ministry of Health and died.

The Commissioner warned citizens of the state to desist from branding people as Ebola patients as it could lead to the death of innocents who don’t have the disease.

Fasuba stated further that other illnesses have similar symptoms as Ebola.
