Hackers hijack ex-governor's Twitter account

The verified account, which has 458, 000 followers that include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and comedian, AY, was last operated by the ex-governor, on May 2, 2015 when he tweeted on Rio Ferdinard's loss.

Immediate ex-governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola has become the latest victim to hackers who have hijacked his official Twitter account.

Fashola's Twitter account with the handle @tundefashola was hijacked on Saturday, September 12, 2015 by hackers, who have been tweeting in chinese language.

There are no official statement from the ex-governor on the development but further report indicates that the ex-governor's official website was also hijacked by the hackers.
