Ex-minister criticizes Oyo ministerial nominee, Shittu over Boko Haram comments

In response to the remark, Fani-Kayode described the ministerial nominee as ‘a coward or a closet Boko Haram sympathiser.’

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has criticized Oyo State ministerial nominee, Barrister Adebayo Shittu over comments he made about Boko Haram while being screened by the Senate on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.

“I won’t comment on Boko Haram, I still have a family to take care of,” Shittu had said when questioned by the legislators about the sect.

“I won’t comment on Boko Haram, I still have a family to take care of”- Honorable Minister- designate Alhaji Bayo Shittu. Bayo Shittu is either a coward or a closet Boko Haram sympathiser. Shame on him,” the former minister wrote on his Facebook page.

Shittu had also earlier been criticized via social media for his conduct during the screening.
