FA agrees £30m with Emirates

The English FA have agreed a new £30million sponsorship deal with Emirates Airline which could see the FA Cup rebranded as the Emirates FA Cup.

According to , the deal will be finally be sealed on Thursday, April 30.

If the deal pulls through, this will be the first time the FA Cup will be rebranded in its 144 years of existence.

The FA decided to allow that to happen after going through this season's FA Cup with a major sponsor. They decided to offer more to attract a significant sponsor to the table.

The Emirates deal according to report will likely to be officially announced nearer to the FA Cup final on May 30.
