Epe gradually becoming new commercial hub of Lagos, says realtor, Sekoni
While conversing with journalists during a media tour at the company’s head office in Lekki, Sekoni said, “Lagos government has been very strategic in planning the Free Trade Zone, Ibeju-lekki/Epe axis from the involvement of the Dangote refineries to the deep sea port and Alaro city in Epe.
“Even the fourth mainland bridge, Lekki international airport and new jetty have also been strategically located there. The road network and the environment serenity despite the area being developing is also one of the things wooing investors to the area,” he added.
“The Silicon Valley of Africa nicknamed the Talent city worth billions of Naira has also been rumoured to be in Epe too.”
However, Sekoni asserted that his company is building its fourth estate in Epe after selling out three already, adding, “we just launched another one totalling five. We are doing a lot to get more properties in Epe just as we are also trying to document all our properties because scammers have invaded the area attempting to sell non-existing properties to potential customers. That's why all our properties have titles.”
Fielding questions on the payment plan for millennial and Gen-Z willing to buy properties, Sekoni restated “We let our targeted customers spread their payment plan within 6months. In fact, most of them actually see their properties on allocation day and they are not disappointed because of the stress involved in inviting them to Epe and that is why we supply them with appropriate pictures and videos.”
Sekoni further advised that it is better to buy a property and keep it for a while since the community is still growing.
