Jointly produced but mixed and mastered by Kayz Beatz, the producers recently revealed the reason behind the decision to jointly produce a mixtape.

According to Emperaw Beatz, M.A.R.S was berthed as a result of dissatisfaction of the norm and the regular type of music as well as a lack of dope producers collaborating and featuring talented artists on the rise.

'We conceived this mixtape and named it M.A.R.S for reasons that include deviating from the norms and giving rising acts the push needed. At the time the acronyms weren't properly sorted but something out of this world was what we sought to create and behold the mixtape,'' he said.

With six songs split in half by both producers featuring different artists with different styles on different genres encapsulates the description of the Musical Alliance for Revolutionary Sound.

The producers, who independently run two different entertainment outfits, Emperaw Music and 007/Entertainment, intend to make a statement on the Nigerian entertainment scene with the mixtape.
