Nigeria's crude oil production stands at about 1.9 million barrels per day (bpd), the oil minister said on Friday.

Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu made the comments during a ceremony appointing Maikanti Kacalla Baru as the new group managing director of state oil firm Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
