Super Eagles and Fenerbahçe of Turkey striker, Emmanuel Emenike has spoken out against the xenophobic attacks currently going on in South Africa.

The striker who started his foreign club career in South Africa with the Mpumalanga Black Aces and FC Cape revealed that he never experience any form of discrimination during his time in the country SA and urged those attacking fellow Africans to stop.

“I can’t believe what is happening in South Africa. I believe we should have moved beyond this stage in Africa. We should always see ourselves as one irrespective of where we come from,” he said in the interview with .

“I am therefore calling for unity among other Africans. I am proud to be African, it is always a pleasure to be united as one big family, do things in common and assist ourselves rather than killing ourselves.
