Ekong, Balogun among 5 Super Eagles to open camp for clash against Ghana
Some Super Eagles players have arrived ahead of the all important 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff double header against the Black Stars of Ghana.
The first leg between the two rivals will take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Ashanti on Friday, March 25, 2022.
Four days till the first leg in Ghana, only five Super Eagles players are in camp.
The official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles confirmed the players in camp.
The post said, "Update! 5 players in camp...William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, Frank Onyeka. #SoarSuperEagles."
Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa is in the country and expected to join the team today.
With just five players in camp, more are expected to arrive before the end of the day as preparation continues for the first leg fixture.
