Germany Quarantines 600 People After Nigerian Woman's Collapse

Authorities in Germany have put 600 people under quarantine after a Nigerian woman collapsed inside a job center.

The affected people were said to have been in the same area of the building as the woman who showed symptoms of Ebola.

The people quarantined include visitors and workers at the employment office located in Berlin.

The woman in question has been taken to a hospital for testing.

A spokesperson for the Berlin fire service, Rolf Erbe said:

"Because the patient came from an area affected by a highly contagious disease, we took these precautions."

Nigeria recorded its first case of the disease on July 25 after it was brought into the country by infected Liberian-American, Patrick Sawyer.
