Liberian Transport Minister In Quarantine

Another top Liberian official has been affected by the Ebola outbreak as the country’s Transport Minister, Angeline Cassell-Bush has been quarantined after her driver died of the disease over the weekend.

Liberia’s Chief Medical Officer, Bernice Dahnalso quarantined herself in September when one of her assistants died of Ebola.

The ministry has issued a statement saying that Cassell-Bush had no contact with the driver but chose to go into isolation as a precautionary measure.

Ebola has killed over 4,000 people in West Africa with Liberia accounting for over 2,000 of that number.
