The Usi-Ekiti born singer, who is one of the raves in the Gospel world, has taken to the Miliki sounds created by his mentor, to propagate salvation and deliverance.
Born Dele Agbeyo, the musician revealed that the compositions of his songs are borne out of sounds he hears while asleep or while meditating.
Dele noted that his decision to always perform at churches without getting paid has been the covenant which has made him golden in the sight of God.
‘Different people make different promises and covenant with God but in my case I told God that if he makes my music appreciated in his house, I will forever be grateful and perform without collecting a dime. It’s on record and you can go to any of the churches we have performed, I don’t charge a dime,’ he humbly dropped.
However, the musician was quick to say he charges a fee for events outside the church premises and performs at personal events and engagements.
In the last decade, Dele Gold has been able to carve a classy niche for himself by fusing the Miliki genre of music to propagate the Gospel.
Dele Gold recently released a new single ‘Every Knee,’ from his forth coming album scheduled for release in coming weeks.
