DUBAI – PARTIZAN: Do or Die for the Black-and-Whites!

"Congratulations to Dubai on the win. I believe we played a good game, but at this level, being effective for only 32 or 33 minutes simply isn't enough. The problem, more or less, began in the first minute of the final quarter. It was as if we disconnected at that moment; we completely lost control of our defense, especially in one-on-one situations. We fell into frustration – Bacon and Kabengele consistently punished us." - Đoan Penjaroja

"After those blows, we tried to resolve situations with individual plays, completely forgetting about teamwork, and because of that, we had several very poor minutes. In games like this, you have to stay focused and play for all 40 minutes. We failed to do that today, and that's the sole reason we lost the game."

"We controlled most situations for the majority of the game, but a clear indicator is that we had seven more turnovers than our opponents, which is too great a luxury at this level. However, I think the key to everything and our primary task is to work on controlling one-on-one situations much better in crucial moments of the game, especially when facing players of Bacon's and Kabengele's caliber."

"We played two games there, and the second one was much better, but we couldn't get the win. We had a few poor minutes in the second half, and I think that was decisive. Now we have two home games, and I believe we can win them with the help of our fans. I hope we succeed, force a fifth game, and ultimately win the title. When we play at home, in front of our fans, we usually come out victorious. I invite all fans to come to the Arena on Wednesday; I think they will be a huge help." - Aleksej Pokuševski
