It took 12 seasons and over 1,600 games for brothers Steph and Seth Curry to finally play together for the same team in an NBA game. The two basketball stars hadn't been healthy simultaneously this season since Seth signed with the Golden State Warriors as a free agent on December 1st.

The Warriors' home game against the Houston Rockets marked the first time both brothers were available. Steph, 38, the elder Curry sibling, had been sidelined since January 30th due to a knee injury.

Upon his return on Sunday, Steph Curry scored 29 points in 26 minutes during the 116-117 loss to the Rockets. However, it was his entry into the game in the second quarter that fulfilled the brothers' dream of playing alongside each other.

"It was special," Steph stated, as quoted by The Athletic. "We both had a very tough year. Honestly, he had it tougher than me because of the injuries," the legendary point guard and sharpshooter added.

Seth, who contributed 6 points in 13 minutes, described the moments spent together on the court as a "dream come true."

"We've been playing against each other for a while. For us to be on the court as teammates is a different dynamic," the 35-year-old player commented.

"Basketball has been a part of our entire lives and what we love to do. The fact that we had such an opportunity at this stage of both our careers... it's a defining moment. When everything is said and done later, I'm sure we'll pull up the pictures from tonight and talk about it," Steph Curry concluded.
