Dončić: The Way Jokić Plays is Phenomenal

Slovenian superstar Luka Dončić of the Los Angeles Lakers drew thousands of fans in Belgrade, the Serbian capital, during an Air Jordan brand event. When asked about the current importance of European players in the NBA, he commented, "I'd say it's because of the passion we have for basketball and how we live with it. I think we live for basketball and the sport."

Dončić also highlighted the class of Denver Nuggets' Serbian center, Nikola Jokić. "When I watch Nikola Jokić play and when I play against him, it feels great. We joke around a bit, but the way he plays is phenomenal. He's performing incredibly," the Slovenian told Serbian outlet Mozzart Sport.

Luka Dončić recently confirmed he would miss the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers.
