Dilemma Resolved: Weiler-Babb Cleared to Play for Crvena Zvezda Against ASVEL

Following two opening defeats, Crvena Zvezda bounced back with back-to-back victories and will now aim for their third consecutive win on a demanding road trip to France.

Awaiting them is ASVEL, who also hold a 2-2 record through four rounds after claiming bragging rights in the French derby against Paris last week.

Ahead of the clash, Zvezda fans were concerned that Nick Weiler-Babb might be forced to sit out, but those fears have been dismissed and head coach Ibon Navarro will have the German guard at his disposal.

Weiler-Babb originally signed with ASVEL ahead of the season before parting ways following the collapse of Tony Parker's ambitious project. The German international ended up joining Zvezda on a season-long loan, leading many to question whether he would be eligible to face his parent club.

However, there is no agreement preventing Weiler-Babb from playing against ASVEL, meaning the Spanish tactician can rely on the former Bayern and Efes guard on Tuesday night.
