According to Sahara Reporters, this was disclosed by Diezani’s lawyer, Oscar Onwudiwe during an interview.

Onwudiwe reportedly added that Momodu “met (with Diezani) on a personal visit with the family.”

He also said that the publisher was not given permission to take the former minister’s pictures and that her family is “very upset” about the controversy the photos and the interview have caused.

Momodu used the interview and photos of a drastically-changed Diezani to launch and publicize his new online newspaper, The Boss.

In the interview, the former minister denied allegations of money laundering levelled against her insisting that she never stole Nigeria’s money.

Diezani also denied ever being intimately connected with President Goodluck Jonathan and a number of other men.
