The Detroit Pistons defeated the Orlando Magic 98-83 in a first-round Eastern Conference NBA playoff clash. After dropping the opening game, the Michigan-based squad managed to even the series at 1-1, fueled by a dominant third quarter, which they won 38-16. This victory allowed the Pistons to snap the longest home playoff losing streak in NBA history, a dismal run that began in 2008 and spanned 11 consecutive games.
