Former NBA star DeMarcus Cousins wants LeBron James to choose the Minnesota Timberwolves as the next step in his career, envisioning a reunion with Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball.
Cousins was a teammate of James during the 2019-2020 season with the Los Angeles Lakers, and although the two didn't get the chance to play together, Cousins continues to support the 41-year-old superstar.
He believes that joining Minnesota is the ideal scenario for LeBron James.
“I want to see him in Minnesota,” the 35-year-old Cousins stated in an interview with NBA on Prime, adding:
“I think that would be must-watch television. They’ve added LaMelo Ball, who is also an exciting player. Bringing those three players together, I think we’re in for some great basketball and potentially a championship title.”
