England international Dan Burn anticipates an exceptionally tough encounter against Norway and their star striker Erling Haaland. According to the defender, the Three Lions will need to significantly elevate their performance compared to their match against Mexico to secure a victory and a spot in the World Cup semi-finals.

If given the opportunity, the 6-foot-6 defender would be tasked with neutralizing the Scandinavian forward, who has impressed with 7 goals in 4 tournament matches so far. However, Burn emphasized that Norway's strong showing is not unexpected.

“To be honest, we're not surprised at all by how well they're doing. I saw how strong they were in the qualifiers. They were in a tough group with Italy but managed to finish first, scoring plenty of goals. So, it's no surprise they're playing well and even beat Brazil,” he commented.

“I know Brazil was tipped as the favorite, but when you have players of Haaland and Martin Ødegaard's caliber, along with other players who can create chances, you always have a shot,” the English defender added.
