Premier League giants Manchester United on Friday, July 8, 2022 dropped their new home jersey for the 2022/23 football season.

The new Manchester United home jersey was designed by international sports brand Adidas.

The new Manchester United home jersey was modelled by star players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho and others.

The new Manchester United home jersey has iconic polo-collar for the first time since 2015.

Ronaldo modeled the new Manchester United home jersey despite links to Premier League rivals Chelsea.

A statement on the official Manchester United website about the new jersey said, “The polo collar is synonymous with Manchester United.

"Turned up or folded down, it has played a starring role in many of the club’s biggest moments.

“With such a rich history, we wanted to pay homage to some of the club’s most legendary kits and players, whilst capturing the essence of home brought into the present day with a new perspective on the strong visual identity and patterns that run through the DNA of the club.”

The new home jersey will be on display for the first time when Erik ten Hag's Manchester United takes on Liverpool in Bangkok on Tuesday 12 July.
