Former two-division UFC champion McGregor and former champion of the organization Holloway had to be separated during their first face-off following the UFC 329 press conference on Thursday night.

When the two UFC stars finally came face-to-face, McGregor snatched Holloway's sunglasses and tossed them to the ground. After Holloway brushed off the insult, the two fighters pressed their foreheads together before being pulled apart. Holloway then dared McGregor to step closer again, and the Irishman slapped his opponent's hands, leading to their final separation.

McGregor and Holloway are set to headline UFC 329 on Sunday morning, Bulgarian time. UFC CEO Dana White has stated that this event is projected to be the highest-grossing gate in the organization's history.
