Rapper joins 'Suicide Squad'

Oscar award winning rapper, Common, has been enlisted to star in Warner Bros.' star studded action movie 'Suicide Squad,' Hollywood reporter states.

Directed by David Ayer, the movie stars Jared Leto as the Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

'Suicide Squad' also stars Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Viola David, Adam Beach, Ike Barinholtz, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Scott Eastwood.

Common recently won an Oscar award for his John Legend collaboration 'Glory,' which appeared in the movie Selma, his latest movie 'Every Secret Thing' is also set for release.

Currently filming, 'Suicide Squad' will hit theatres on August 5, 2016.
