The football player can be seen receiving a haircut during rehearsals for the upcoming Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards when Ciara's son asks for a kiss. 'Papa, kiss,' Future Jnr said, the 27 year old star then plants a kiss on his stepson, who was carried in the arms of a young assistant.

This adorable exchange has however got the Internet buzzing with a lot of people saying that Future Jnr should simply call Russell Wilson Russell as opposed to Papa while others feel it is no big deal.

Others feel that Ciara is actually making her son call her new husband papa in a bid to spite her ex with who she had a messy breakup with.

Ciara recently claimed her former boyfriend Future was “frightening” and “socially irresponsible”which made her fear for Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson’s life in an ongoing suit.

Just last month, Future won joint custody over their young son.

Ciara and Future were engaged in 2013 and split a few months after their son was born in May 2014.

In April 2015, Ciara began dating Wilson, and they announced their engagement in an Instagram video on March 11 and tied the knot on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, in England.

Ciara and Wilson wedded in a very private ceremony with a 100 close friends and family members in attendance as witnesses.
