More than 300 participants from within and outside Africa will gather together to celebrate the life and works of Chinua Achebe,  one of the founding fathers of African Literature.

In an interview with Radio Ghana, Mr. Carlos Granes a visiting Latin American writer reveals that he in Ghana to celebrate the works of late renowned African Writer.

Mr Granes agrees that Chinua Achebe is one of the most influential African writer of his generation.

He described the late author as an excellent and brilliant writer who needs to be celebrated and recognized. He also advocates that African literature needs to be held in high esteem.
