According to a neighbour who posted the photo of the battered boy on social media, when the father realised that his money was missing, he asked the child who initially denied taking the money but after the father gave him some beating, he opened and said he took the money to school.

This infuriated the man the more and he gave the boy a real hiding, leaving him with severe bruises on his bare back.
