4 More Abducted Schoolgirls Escape

A new report has it that 4 more Chibok girls have escaped from Boko Haram captivity after being abducted in April

According to the New York Post, 4 more Chibok girls have escaped from captivity and walked for three weeks before arriving at a Nigerian village.

The girls were said to have been held in Cameroon but they were able to break free with the help of a teenage male prisoner.

The latest claims were made by Australian crisis negotiator, Stephen Davis who has links with Boko Haram and tried to broker the girls’ release.

Davis reportedly said:

“They were amazing — to first escape and then walk for weeks,”

However, the Chibok community has said that it is not aware of the girls’ escape.

The over 200 schoolgirls were abducted by Boko Haram on April 14, 6 months ago and most of them are still in captivity.
