Chelsea has reportedly rejected a loan offer from Leeds United for Mykhailo Mudryk, according to Sky Sports. The Yorkshire club's terms for the Ukrainian winger were deemed significantly below the Londoners' expectations. However, discussions between the two clubs are ongoing.

Mudryk returned to action in early August after a 20-month absence due to a doping ban, which was later reduced. The 25-year-old winger is currently not training with the first team as a transfer is anticipated. Chelsea's preference is to loan him out to see if the Ukrainian can rediscover the form that prompted them to pay an initial €70 million for him, a fee that could potentially rise to €100 million with add-ons.

Mudryk has not featured in an official match since November 2024.

When questioned about the winger's future on Thursday, Xabi Alonso stated, "We will see, we still have time to decide and there's no need to rush."
