Chelsea reject Monaco’s bid for manager

Chelsea have rejected a shock £35million bid from Monaco for their manager, Jose Mourinho.

The manager has been trailed with sack reports following Chelsea’s disastrous start to the season but seems the Mourinho is being wanted elsewhere.

A shareholder of Monaco, Alessandro Proto claims he met Roman Abramovich in London to discuss signing Mourinho from the club.

Proto’s company according to Daily Mail also alleged that Abramovich might reconsider if Monaco double the offer to £71m.

Abramovich rejected of the offer from Monaco is a huge statement of his faith in Mourinho to bring Chelsea back to ways.
