Chelsea Lands French International Defender

Chelsea has announced the signing of central defender Maxence Lacroix. He joins from Crystal Palace in a deal reportedly worth £51 million. The French international has penned a six-year contract.

“I think this is the best move for me because it’s the best team in the world. I spoke with Malo (Gusto), Trev (Chalobah), and Benoît (Badiashile). It’s easy for people to say good things about this club because it has a rich history, and I’m truly proud to be a part of it,” Lacroix stated upon signing.
