For the Spanish champions, this was a final warm-up just days before the start of the La Liga season. However, it seems the visiting fans didn't quite grasp that the match was intended to be a friendly and peaceful encounter. Throughout the game, away supporters were involved in multiple skirmishes with local fans. Due to the behavior of the visiting crowd, numerous security guards and police were called to the scene. Dozens of supporters were forcibly removed from the stadium amidst chaotic scenes in the stands, which were documented in videos shared across social media.

During the melee, punches appeared to be exchanged between both fans and security personnel before the situation was brought under control.

The ejected supporters then made their way up the stairs to the sarcastic jeers of the home crowd. They didn't miss much of their team's performance, as Barcelona ultimately lost the match 1-2.
