Carrick Reveals Baleba's Debut Timeline

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has expressed his satisfaction with the signing of Carlos Baleba. The midfielder is set to bolster a midfield that faced significant challenges at the start of the season, particularly during the 2-0 loss to Hull. However, Baleba, along with Amad Diallo, will miss Sunday's clash against Ipswich. The new recruit is currently nursing an ankle injury and is expected to be sidelined for at least another two weeks.

“We are very happy to have signed Carlos. I believe he possesses immense potential. This is an exciting addition for us. He has the qualities to bring better balance to the team,” Carrick stated. When asked if Baleba might debut before the international break, he responded: “We’ll see. We hope so, but I don’t want to set any specific timelines.”

“We have a strong squad to choose from. We can utilize various combinations. This is our first home match of the season, and we are eagerly anticipating it. Last week was a setback, and we are keen to get back to playing well and winning again,” Carrick added.
