Burnley Secures Young Kazakh Talent from Chelsea on Loan

Burnley has announced the signing of 18-year-old Kazakh forward Dastan Satpayev from Chelsea on loan until the end of the 2026/2027 season.

Satpayev joined the London club this summer from Kairat, Levski's Champions League opponent, but it appears he will initially gain experience at Turf Moor in the Championship, awaiting his chance to break into the two-time European club champions' squad. Nevertheless, he did get a taste of the London giants' atmosphere, having been part of the team's tour under Xabi Alonso in Australia, even scoring a consolation goal against Western Sydney.

Satpayev also has one cap for the Kazakhstan national team, earned in a friendly match against Curaçao.
