Bukayo Saka Honoured with Prestigious Socrates Award

Bukayo Saka has been named the recipient of the 2026 Socrates Award. Presented during the Ballon d'Or ceremony, the accolade recognizes elite footballers for their outstanding humanitarian contributions and social impact.

Renowned for his extensive charity work in Africa, the Arsenal and England forward marked the occasion by reading a touching letter from a young boy. The child shared how Saka's initiatives provided his school with a blackboard, enabling him and his classmates to learn how to write.

Beyond this, Saka remains actively involved with multiple organizations dedicated to supporting and empowering underprivileged children.
