Buhari is expected to visit the country’s capital, Malabo for talks with President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo on further measures to protect the people and resources of the Niger Delta and Gulf of Guinea.

The president was accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali, National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno and other senior security officials.
