‘President is doing very well,’ Saraki says

He also said that the Senate had set the end of March as the deadline to finish work on the 2017 budget.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki has said that President Muhammadu Buhari is doing very well.

Saraki also said that he and House of Representatives Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, discussed matters of national interest with Buhari during a meeting on Tuesday, March 14.

“He is doing very well, we discussed issues of national interest,” Saraki said.

The Senate President also said that the meeting centred on the “budget, the economy, CBN, Euro bond, the issue of the ambassadorial list, the stability in the Niger Delta, and a whole range of issues.”
