Mrs Obama said via her Twitter handle, @FLOTUS:

“We haven’t forgotten about the girls who were abducted in Nigeria, and we'll keep working to help bring them back. #BringBackOurGirls –mo”

The 6-month anniversary of the girls’ abduction led to protests at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock, Abuja by the #BringBackOurGirls group and also in New York as US singer, Alicia Keys and 30 others gathered in front of the Nigerian Embassy to demand that more action be taken to bring the girls home.

The Chibok girls were kidnapped on April 14 by Boko Haram militants and most of them are still in captivity.
