Brest claimed a 2-0 away victory over Lorient in the Breton derby on Ligue 1's Matchday 9. Goals from Ludovic Ajorque (69') and Noah Edjouma (90+2') secured the win for the visitors, putting an end to Lorient's run of three consecutive league matches without conceding.
The two sides went into the break locked at 0-0, though Brest were denied an opening goal early in the second half when their effort struck the woodwork.
The visitors eventually broke the deadlock in the 69th minute courtesy of Ajorque.
Lorient registered 13 shots throughout the game but were unable to find the back of the net.
Two minutes into stoppage time, substitute Noah Edjouma doubled Brest's lead to put the result beyond doubt.
