Lagos Doctor Who Treated Dead Liberian Has The Ebola Virus

According to reports, the Nigerian doctor who treated diseased Liberian, Patrick Sawyer has also caught the Ebola virus.

This was reportedly revealed by the Minister of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu who said:

“This new case is one of the doctors who attended to the Liberian Ebola patient who died,”

Patrick Sawyer arrived in Lagos on July 20 after boarding 2 planes and authorities have been trying to search for all the people he came in contact with.

The first case of Ebola was reported in February and health workers in the affected West African countries are battling to stop the scourge.
