According to reports, Senegal has now recorded its first case of the Ebola disease.

This was confirmed today, August 29, 2014 by the country’s Health Minister, Awa Marie Coll-Seck.
The minister said that a young Guinean had tested positive for the deadly virus and had been quarantined.
The patient, a university student in Conakry, is said to be in a “satisfactory condition”.
This year’s Ebola outbreak started in Guinea and has now spread to Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
