Liverpool remains unbeaten but has recorded three draws in their four Premier League matches this season, leaving them with ground to make up. The Cherries also have three draws in the league so far and are still searching for their first win. However, they secured a victory in their first European fixture during the week, triumphing away against Real Sociedad. Bournemouth is currently on a 12-match unbeaten run at their home stadium.

Liverpool has won six of their previous seven encounters with Bournemouth, but in their last visit to the Vitality, the Merseyside club suffered a 3-2 defeat.

During the week, Iraola made ten changes for the match against Tottenham. Now, he reverts to a more familiar lineup. There are three changes from the Fulham game: Miloš Kerkez, Alexis Mac Allister, and Cody Gakpo start in place of Kostas Tsimikas, Ryan Gravenberch, and Victor Muñoz.

Bournemouth's starting XI sees one change from the Real Sociedad match, with Justin Kluivert replaced by Ryan Christie.
