Boston Celtics Extend Jordan Walsh's Contract

The Boston Celtics have extended Jordan Walsh's contract through the end of the 2029-30 season, ESPN reports.

The Celtics offered a three-year deal worth $15 million to the 22-year-old American, who is capable of playing both guard and forward.

Last season, Walsh emerged as a key rotational player for Boston, achieving career-high averages of 5.4 points and 4 rebounds across 68 games, including 25 starts. He also significantly improved his long-range shooting, converting 38% of his three-point attempts.

Jordan Walsh was initially drafted by the Sacramento Kings in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft, but his rights were immediately acquired by the Celtics.
