The Champions League game was postponed following a bomb blast which hit the Dortmund team bus injuring defender Marc Bartra.

With the game postponed until the next day, some Monaco supporters were stranded by Dortmund fans showed why we love football.

Dortmund official Twitter account sent out a message urging their own fans to help out their Monaco counterparts who were stranded with the hashtag #bedforawayfans.

Their call was obliged to as supporters of both clubs took to social media to share images of all of them hang out together.

One photo shows Dortmund fans having dinner with two Monaco supporters while another has fans of both clubs hanging out together with some bottles of beer in a living room.

In another picture, fans of both clubs are holding each other’s scarf.

“When the footballing world unite,” a social media user wrote.

Dortmund have announced that tickets for the game would still be valid for the rescheduled fixture.
