Soldiers kill 17 terrorists in Cameroon

The insurgents were said to have been killed during a battle which took place in the Northern part of the country between Sunday, January 24 and Monday, January 25, 2016.

According to reports, 17 Boko Haram terrorists have been killed by soldiers in Cameroon.

The insurgents were said to have been killed during a battle which took place in the Northern part of the country between Sunday, January 24 and Monday, January 25, 2016, according to Bloomberg.

This was disclosed by Communications Minister, Issa Tchiroma Bakary in a statement on national radio.

“They had turned the locality into an infiltration corridor for suicide-bombers,” Bakary said.

He also said that three Cameroonian soldiers had suffered minor injuries during the battle.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army has disclosed that it killed 14 militants during a recent raid in Yobe State.
