Bogdan Bogdanović Foundation Revitalizes Basketball Court in New Belgrade

The existing school playground, spanning 410 square meters, has undergone extensive renovation and now boasts a top-tier sports surface, meeting the highest FIBA standards. Certified basketball hoops ensure structural integrity, protected by soft padding for children's safety.

Students from the school officially inaugurated their new playing field with a game, a space we believe will foster quality camaraderie and play.

Bogdan Bogdanović stated:

"It's particularly meaningful to me that the Foundation continues to grow and expand its circle of good deeds. Sport isn't just a game—it teaches children perseverance, fair play, and teamwork. Every new court is more than just a good surface and a hoop; it's a place where friendships are forged and where memories are created that last a lifetime. I believe that right here, children will find inspiration to be persistent, to enjoy the game, and to build stories they'll cherish forever.

That's why it's important to me that we continue on this path, because every new project means we've opened doors for someone to play, to dream, and to a better future."

Ana Lazarević, principal of "Mladost" Elementary School, highlighted:

"For our school, the opening of this new basketball court represents a significant event and another step forward in creating better conditions for our students. We are grateful to the "Bogdan Bogdanović" Foundation for this donation, as it's not just an investment in sports infrastructure, but also in the health, safety, and future of our students. For parents and the community, this is a sign that together we can provide children with the best environment for growing up. Our school is proud to be part of such a project, and we are confident that the new court will bring much joy and benefit to all future generations."

This marks the fourth basketball court renovated by the "Bogdan Bogdanović" Foundation, continuing the Foundation's mission to create better living conditions for children through sports and social interaction.
