Born Praise Ugbede Adejo on the 8th of March is a Nigerian singer, song writer and producer. He was born in Lagos and grew up in Kaduna with his 4 siblings and parents. Praiz grew up listening to Barry White and Michael Jackson however he didn’t plan on being a musician. He has a degree in computer science from the Kaduna Polytechnic.

Praiz who worked as a music producer rose to fame when he emerged as second runner-up in the popular musical reality show, MTN Project Fame in 2008.

Best Known for:  Praiz is currently signed on X3M Music and is popular for his love songs and has been compared to American artist John Legend, who is also one of Praiz’s musical influences.

Praiz has worked with several artists of repute, the likes of Cobhams Asuquo, Bez, Awilo, M.I, Efa and others. His musical talent was recognized on an international level when he sang along Nigerian alternative musican Bez's song on his hit track ‘That Stupid Song’. Praiz who is fond of being dressed by Mai Atafo was recently nominated for World Best Male Artist, World Best Live Act and World Best Entertainer of the Year at the World Music Awards, Voice of the year award and many others.
