Besiktas Lands Bayern Munich Goalkeeper

Besiktas has officially announced the signing of goalkeeper Alexander Nübel, who joins the club from Bayern Munich.

The transfer fee for the 29-year-old player is €6.5 million, with an additional €5 million in bonuses. The German international, whose 2026 World Cup campaign ended in the Round of 16, has signed a four-year contract. Nübel struggled to secure a starting spot at the Allianz Arena due to the strong competition from Manuel Neuer, making only four appearances for the Bavarian giants. In contrast, the goalkeeper spent the last three seasons at Stuttgart, where he accumulated 129 matches, conceding 180 goals and keeping 38 clean sheets.
