The Australian point guard inked a one-year deal worth $3.5 million.

Simmons last played in the NBA at the end of the 2024-25 season for the Los Angeles Clippers. He sat out the entire 2025-26 campaign due to injury, but states he is now fully healthy.

Injuries have plagued much of the three-time All-Star's career, particularly since his trade from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Brooklyn Nets in 2021. He also missed his entire rookie season in 2016-17 with the Sixers due to another injury. However, it was in Philadelphia where Simmons showcased his best form, earning Rookie of the Year honors and twice being named among the defenders of the year.

Across 383 career games, Ben Simmons holds averages of 13.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per contest.
