The 39 year-old who retired while playing for MLS club LA Galaxy retired in May 2014 having played for Manchester United and Real Madrid, AC Milan and PSG where he finally retired.

Beckham appeared on a BBC One Documentary 'David Beckham: Into the unknown,' where he disclosed his intention. He admitted that he had "a tough time" after retirement but has now gone through a rest stage and is considering calling off his retirement.

As an active player, he played 115 times for England with no major honours at the international level except for his days at Man Utd and Real Madrid.
