Lawyer and human rights activist launches a book on terrorism in Abuja
Popular lawyer and human rights activist, Barrister Innocent Nkemjika Ezeugo, just launched a book on terrorism.
Addressing journalists at the launch, Ezeugo said that he wrote "The Terror of Terrorism" to enlighten the public on the scourge of terrorism.
He said that the main message of the book was to show the world that if leaders do the right thing in most cases, it will assist in ending terrorism.
He added that bad leadership, injustice and impunity were the major causes of terrorism in the country and transparency, good governance and honesty were the solutions to the lingering insecurity and youth unemployment in Nigeria.
Daily Trust News reported that Ezeugo advised the government to address corruption, poverty and unemployment, saying that the issue of insecurity would become history if government addresses these three major problems.
